Easy Pumpkin Dip

If you love pumpkin pie, you will love this dip! It's been a huge hit at our house. I put it out at dinner and went to get the bowl to put the left-overs away. I came back to Higgins licking it out of the pumpkin!

This dip is easy and quick to make. It took me about 15 minutes (cleaning out pumpkin, mixing ingredients together). It should chill a couple of hours before serving though.

You will need:
  • 15 oz can pumpkin
  • 8 oz container Cool Whip (thawed)
  • 5 oz box of Instant Vanilla Pudding (you will only use the powder!)
  • 1/2 tablespoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Cinnamon for topping (about 1/2 tablespoon)
  • Small pumpkin
  • Dippers: Vanilla Cookies (like Nilla Wafers), apple slices, celery, etc.

Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients together.
2. Chill in a bowl for about 3 hours before serving.
3. Cut the top off of the pumpkin and hollow out. You want the inside to be as smooth as possible.
4. Before serving, fill the pumpkin with the dip.
5. Optional, sprinkle cinnamon on top of the dip before serving.
