I live in the Midwest with my husband, two wonderful children (for the purposes of this blog, they will be called Bernardo and Higgins), and a very lazy dog. I worked outside the home for years, went to part time after my oldest was born, and am now a stay at home mom. My husband and I also ran an entertainment company for several years.
In late 2011, I published my first book (I have always wanted to be a writer)! Animals To Trains: A Children's Birthday Party Guide is about planning and throwing children's birthday parties. It goes through several party themes and each party is broken down into invitations, decorations, activities, food, cake, and favors. I love throwing my kids birthday parties and tend to go a little overboard.
After finishing the book, I still had lots of ideas that were not birthday related (about a binder full). My husband finally told me I should start a blog and do something with them. So here I am!
