Frozen Chocolate Covered Bananas

It's been super hot around here this summer! We already made popsicles and upgraded our water, so I wanted to try something new. We made frozen chocolate covered bananas! These are easy to make and are a great snack on a hot day. From start to finish they take about 1 1/2 hours.

For these snacks you will need:

Directions:
  1. Peel bananas.
  2. Insert stick into one end. Keep the stick in the middle of the banana.
  3. Wrap in plastic wrap and place in freezer for about 1 hour.
  4. Melt chocolate, but be careful not to burn the chocolate. I used a double broiler insert for my pot.
  5. Pour melted chocolate into a tall glass.
  6. Remove banana from freezer, unwrap, and dip into chocolate.
  7. Roll in nuts or sprinkles.
  8. Re-wrap in plastic wrap and place in freezer.
  9. Eat and enjoy!
