Welcome! I am a mom to two wonderful kids, a lovely retired greyhound, and a wife to a great husband. Needless to say, there are a lot of daily messes to clean up around our house. Daily Messes is my blog to share ideas on things to do with your kids, snack and meal ideas, crafts, and holiday fun. I hope you find something to enjoy!

Could You Hand Me A Reindeer, Please?

Higgins liked making the turkey handprints so much, that he wanted to make more handprint crafts. We made a handprint Reindeer and he painted on trees to complete his masterpiece.

You will need:
  • Paint (brown, red, etc.)
  • Paintbrush
  • Paper
  • Willing hands
  • Googly eyes, optional

Directions:
1. Paint the palm of a hand and 4 fingers (not the thumb) brown.
2. Gently press hand onto paper.
3. Paint on a nose. Higgins wanted to make Rudolph, so we did a red nose.
4. Paint on eyes, or attach googly eyes.
5. Optional: You could also decorate the antlers by painting on lights or ornaments, gluing on pom pom balls, sequins, glitter, etc.
