Welcome! I am a mom to two wonderful kids, a lovely retired greyhound, and a wife to a great husband. Needless to say, there are a lot of daily messes to clean up around our house. Daily Messes is my blog to share ideas on things to do with your kids, snack and meal ideas, crafts, and holiday fun. I hope you find something to enjoy!

Witches Potion

Makes about 4 servings.

You will need:
  • 1 1/2 cups apple cider
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 2 Tbpn honey
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • Blender
  • Food coloring, optional
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth. Add food coloring, if desired, to make drink look spooky. I added about 6 drops green, 4 drops blue, and 2 drops red.
2. Enjoy!

DM TIPS:
  • We liked the flavor, but for younger kids, you may want to cut the cinnamon and nutmeg in half as it is somewhat strong.
  • If you want more of a milkshake, try adding in ice cubes to thicken it up.
