Cinnamon Apple Pork Chops

I've been in a rut lately when it comes to making dinner. I pulled out my recipe book and started going through some recipes that I haven't made in a long time. I found this recipe for cinnamon apple pork chops, which the kids loved. I added broccoli, mac and cheese, and my coleslaw.
Time: About 1 hour. Serves: 4

You will need:

  • 2 large apples, sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 nutmeg
  • 4 pork chops (about 3 oz in size), boneless and trimmed of fat
  • 3 teaspoons canola oil

1. Heat oil in a non-stick skillet.
2. Add apple slices to skillet and saute until tender.
3. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over apples. Remove from heat and keep warm.
4. Spray a large skillet and place pork chops into the skillet. Cook thoroughly.
5. Remove pork chops from skillet and place on plates. Spoon apples over pork chops.
