Welcome! I am a mom to two wonderful kids, a lovely retired greyhound, and a wife to a great husband. Needless to say, there are a lot of daily messes to clean up around our house. Daily Messes is my blog to share ideas on things to do with your kids, snack and meal ideas, crafts, and holiday fun. I hope you find something to enjoy!

Personal Jello Fruit Cups

These are great at the holidays or just as an after dinner snack.
Time: About 3 hours (mixing and refrigerating). Makes 24.

Items Needed:

  • (1) 20 oz can crushed pineapple
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • (2) 3 oz packages Raspberry Jello
  • 2/3 cup walnut pieces
  • (1) 16 oz can cranberry sauce, whole berries
  • Water
  • Paper muffin wrappers

Directions:

1. Drain pineapple, but keep the juice. Add water to the juice to get a total of 2 1/2 cups of liquid.
2. Bring juice/water to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in gelatin until it is dissolved completely.
3. Add apple, pineapple, walnuts, and cranberry sauce into gelatin. Stir together. Place muffin wrappers into muffin pan and spoon in mixture.
4. Refrigerate until firm, about 2 1/2 hours. Remove the wrappers and serve!
