Welcome! I am a mom to two wonderful kids, a lovely retired greyhound, and a wife to a great husband. Needless to say, there are a lot of daily messes to clean up around our house. Daily Messes is my blog to share ideas on things to do with your kids, snack and meal ideas, crafts, and holiday fun. I hope you find something to enjoy!

Hand Print Your Turkeys with Cards

Thanksgiving is a perfect time to send homemade cards to family and loved ones! Turkeys are a great card to send for Thanksgiving and they are super easy to make (it was a battle in our house when Bernardo was younger and did not like messy hands).

You will need:
  • Paper
  • Paint: brown, orange or red, white

Directions:
1. Lightly coat their hand with brown craft paint and press (open-handed) on a piece of paper. Let dry.
2. With red paint, draw on an eye, wattle, or head feathers on the thumbprint. With orange or yellow paint, draw on a beak.

If your kids don't like having the paint on their hands, you can make pumpkin cards!
