Welcome! I am a mom to two wonderful kids, a lovely retired greyhound, and a wife to a great husband. Needless to say, there are a lot of daily messes to clean up around our house. Daily Messes is my blog to share ideas on things to do with your kids, snack and meal ideas, crafts, and holiday fun. I hope you find something to enjoy!

Easy Napkin Rings

My kids love to help me get the house ready for parties or when people are coming over. These popsicle stick napkin rings are a great way to let them help!

You will need:
  • Paper towel roll, cut to size or toilet paper rolls
  • Fall colored buttons (yellow, orange, red, brown, white). HINT: I discovered that it works better if they are all the same size.
  • Popsicle sticks, optional
Directions:
1. If using popsicle sticks, glue lengthwise on the paper roll. Let dry. (The sticks give it more durability.) I held them in place with a rubber band while drying.
2. Glue on buttons in rows down the popsicle sticks.

Alternative: You could also line the inside of the paper roll with felt!
