Mother's Day Gift Idea: Make Mom a Frame!

For an easy craft for the kids to make, try making a foam frame! Last year, I took a picture of my kids and got copies made for the Grandmas and Great-Grandmas. I bought a foam frame kit (similar to this), which came with different colors of foam frames, foam stickers, and cardboard backs. The foam pieces were all self adhesive. I taped the edges of the picture to the cardboard back and stuck on the foam frame. The kids then picked out their stickers and decorated the frames themselves!

I found a problem with the frames though: the frame edges were pretty small and the stickers over hung the edges or covered the picture. I had foam craft sheets, so I cut one in half and attached the picture to the craft sheet. I then added the frame on top of the picture, and then added on the decorative stickers. If you want to mail one to Grandma, you probably want to have a wider frame or use the craft sheets so the stickers do not stick to the envelope.
