Welcome! I am a mom to two wonderful kids, a lovely retired greyhound, and a wife to a great husband. Needless to say, there are a lot of daily messes to clean up around our house. Daily Messes is my blog to share ideas on things to do with your kids, snack and meal ideas, crafts, and holiday fun. I hope you find something to enjoy!

Banana Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

Makes about 5 Cups

You will need:
  • 3 cups vanilla Greek yogurt (I used Chobani.)
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3 ripe bananas, frozen (freeze overnight)
  • 7 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 - 1/3 cup chocolate syrup (I used 1/4 cup and had a slight chocolate flavor. 1/3 cup would give a stronger chocolate flavor.)
  • Blender, Ziploc bag

Directions:
1. Unwrap the bananas and place in a Ziploc bag. Freeze overnight.
2. Add all ingredients to blender and combine. I used the blend setting. DM TIP: If you have a smaller blender, you may want to break the recipe in half so you won't overfill the blender and make a big mess (not like I did that or anything....).
3. Serve and enjoy!

DM TIP: If you have leftover drink, place in popsicle molds and freeze overnight for a healthier popsicle! You can also freeze for a few hours to make a soft served ice cream. (Note: If you leave it in overnight, it will be too hard to scoop. It comes out in flakes, not in a nice scoop.)
