Welcome! I am a mom to two wonderful kids, a lovely retired greyhound, and a wife to a great husband. Needless to say, there are a lot of daily messes to clean up around our house. Daily Messes is my blog to share ideas on things to do with your kids, snack and meal ideas, crafts, and holiday fun. I hope you find something to enjoy!

Biking, Hiking, and Camping Gifts...Oh My!

The gift buying season is upon us. Every year I sit down and make a list of the people I need to buy for and struggle to match that list to gift ideas. Face it, some people are harder to shop for than others. Since I'm probably not the only one with this problem, I thought I would share some of my ideas. Today's list is about the outdoor lover in your life. Check back often throughout the month for more gift buying ideas! Good luck shopping! May the deals be plentiful, your cart overflowing, and your wallet not emptied.

2.   Columbia Watertight Jacket. There's nothing worse than being wet when the sun goes down.
4.   Flashlight. Great for keeping ankles from being sprained in the dark, trust me.
6.   Gift Card. A gift card is perfect when you don't know what they already have.
7.   Dry Sacks
8.   Outdoor Watch
9.   Ultimate Hiker's Gear Guide
11. Water Purification Water Bottle or Tablets. I have a Berkey water bottle that purifies potentially dirty water. These are also great to bring if you are traveling to a foreign country!
13. Paracord
14. Bivvy
16. Pocket Chain Saw. Because you never know when you might have to cut something down.
18. A new tent.
