Welcome! I am a mom to two wonderful kids, a lovely retired greyhound, and a wife to a great husband. Needless to say, there are a lot of daily messes to clean up around our house. Daily Messes is my blog to share ideas on things to do with your kids, snack and meal ideas, crafts, and holiday fun. I hope you find something to enjoy!

What's For Dinner Mummy?

For a fun Halloween themed dinner, try making a mummy shaped meatloaf. Shape the meatloaf into a mummy shape with crossed arms. This recipe takes about 1 - 1/2 hours.

Directions:
1. Make the meatloaf. Form into a mummy shape and bake until cooked through. (If you need a recipe, check out my Gotta Eat It Meatloaf post.)
2. Let it sit a few minutes and lay strips of white cheese (white American, white Cheddar, Swiss, or Mozzarella) across the body. Leave a small place for the eyes at the top (small pieces of pepperoni or olives, or just ketchup).
3. Set the meatloaf back in the oven for about 1 minute to slightly melt the cheese.
4. Enjoy!
