For these "sundaes" you will need:
- Chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients listed on back of box)
- Waffle bowls (4 oz size)
- Large marshmallows
- Maraschino Cherries
- Whipped Cream (like Reddi Whip or Cool Whip)
- Sprinkles and/or nuts
- Hot Fudge/Caramel/Strawberry Topping or Sauce
Directions:
- Bake and cool cupcakes.
- On a baking sheet, place waffle bowls.
- In each bowl, place 1 cupcake.
- Next place 2 marshmallows on top.
- Bake until marshmallows are just softened (about 2-3 minutes).
- Microwave jar of fudge sauce (remove lid first!) for 10 seconds, or until softened.
- Place sauce on top of marshmallows.
- Next, place sprinkles/nuts, whipped cream, and a cherry!
HINT: Brownies also work great in this dessert!
These took about 1 1/2 hours from baking the cupcakes to completion.
