Easy Food Gift Plates

I like to make cookies, cupcakes, brownies, and cakes. But as much as I like to make them, I know we can't eat them all so I like to share them. If I send them into hubby's work, he prefers that it's on a plate that he doesn't have to keep track of and bring back home. I like them to look a little more festive than just a plain paper plate, but cupcake boxes can get expensive. Finally, I figured out how to decorate a paper plate and it's so easy I'm surprised

You will need:
  • Plates
  • Ribbon
  • Hole punch

Directions:
1. Punch holes evenly around the plate. I used an 8 1/2 inch plate and had 18 holes. At the bottom of the plate, I left a hole out so that there would be a wider spot to tie the ribbon over.
2. Weave ribbon through the holes around the plate. (I used 38 inches of ribbon for 1 plate.)  DM Tip: I started on top of the plate and threaded from top to bottom of the plate.
3. Tie bow.
4. Load up the goodies and deliver!

Come back tomorrow to find out how to make the Flower Cookie Cupcakes shown on the plate!
