Ok, this was supposed to be a turkey...it kind of looks like one. The boys loved it and it only took 4 minutes to get them ready.
You will need:
- Apple(s)
- Mini Marshmallows
- Toothpicks, or thin skewers trimmed to size
- Small snacks (raisins, Cherrios, Goldfish)
- Candy corn
Directions:
1. Place snacks onto the toothpicks and insert around the back of the apple. (I trimmed off the pointed ends so the kids wouldn't stab themselves.)
2. Cut a mini marshmallow in half. Push a chocolate chip through the marshmallow. Press onto the apple for eyes.
3. Attach the candy corn for a beak. I used peanut butter as a "glue" but you could also use cream cheese (in case of peanut allergies).
4. Eat and enjoy!
